NucByte Digital Spectrometer

NucByte and NucByte-2 are products developed by HAHN in response to "Made in China 2025". To enhance the domestic production level of nuclear instruments and break the international monopoly, based on absorbing the advanced experience from various international manufacturers and in combination with domestic actual conditions, it is an integrated digital spectrometer. It integrates our rich design experience in digital spectrometers and the continuous innovation ability of our developers.

SPECIFICATION
Display

The 7-inch backlit color LCD provides status information and the displayed information can be selected by the user. It can display detector high voltage status, gain/zero point stability, real-time/live time, input counting rate, etc. at any time.

Maximum data throughput rate

The rise and fall time is 12 μs, and the flat-top time is 0.8 μs (similar to the analog 6 μs shaping).

The maximum system processing capacity: when LFR is off, it is > 130,000 cps. When LFR is on, it is > 34,000 cps, depending on the forming parameters.

System gain setting

Coarse gain adjustment: 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32, 64 and 128.

Fine gain adjustment: 0.5 to 1.1.

Preamplification

The computer selects either a resistive-capacitive type preamplifier or a TRP preamplifier.

System transformation gain

It can be selected by the computer as 65536, 32768, 16384, 8192, 4096, 2048, 1024 , 512 or 256 levels.

The shaping time constant of the digital filter

Rise time: 0.8 μs to 23 μs, with step size of 0.2 μs.

Flat-top: 0.3 to 2.4, with step size of 0.1 μs.

Digitalized stable spectrum

Controlled by a computer and with stable gain and zero point

System temperature coefficient

Gain: < 50 ppm/℃. [Usually < 30 ppm/℃. ]

Offset: < 5 ppm/℃ of full scale.

Differential nonlinearity: < ±1%
